1. Unfold the mattress (shikibuton) on the tatami  floor
2. Put the summer blanket (hada kakebuton) on the top of shikibuton.

1. Unfold the mattress on the tatami floor
2. Put a warmer shikibuton cover on the top of mattress
3. Put a winter blanket (moufu) on the top of shikibuton cover
4. Put a blanket (kakebuton) on the top of moufu.
