An upcoming movie starring Manami Nagasawa, Ryuhei Matsuda, and Hiroki Hasegawa, titled “Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha” (English title: “Before We Vanish”) has released its visual teaser. The movie poster shows a tearful Manami Nagasawa with a phrase: “Zetsubō ga yatte kita. Ai suru hito no sugata de.” which can be loosely translated as: “Despair comes, in the shape of your loved one.” This movie is based on the theatrical play “Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha” which was written and directed by Tomohiro Maekawa. The movie version is directed by Cannes Film Festival winner Kiyoshi Kurosawa, and is scheduled to be released on theatre on September 9, 2017.
Plot: (from AsianWiki) “Narumi Kase (Manami Nagasawa) is on bad terms with her husband Shinji Kase (Ryuhei Matsuda). One day, Shinji Kase goes missing. He comes back a couple of days later, but he seems like a totally different person. Shinji Kase is now gentle and tender. He goes for a walk every day. Meanwhile, a family is brutally murdered and an unexplained phenomenon takes place. Journalist Sakurai (Hiroki Hasegawa) covers the story of the murdered family.”
About the movie, Nagasawa commented that she hopes the audience can enjoy the nervousness sensation when viewers realize that the story in the movie can also happen in real life. “It’s a movie that can’t be classified into one genre, it’s going to be an amazing one,” she said.
