Well, I have a concern related to my ability to teach my children how to read the Al Quran or about Islam in general properly. I also worry about bullying in school especially with the bad image of Islam nowadays. I do love Japan especially the culture and the language, which was what made me choose to accept the offer to study in Japan. I also like that Japan is generally safe everywhere, clean and very convenient. I also like that education systems teach children how to be independent and thoughtful towards other people and is not so exam orientated. And the pride that they show towards whatever it is they do is also something I admire and want my children to learn.
So far I haven’t across any discrimination but after watching the documentary about muslim teenagers in Japan made me a bit worried.
