Popular folk/pop rock duo Yuzu will make a collaboration concert titled “Harebutai! Yuzu to Hatachi de Tsukuru ‘Arigatou Konsaato'” (literally meaning: “Big Moment! Yuzu and New Adults’ ‘Thank You Concert'”). This collaboration is going to be held in Minato Mirai Hall, Yokohama on March 30. Yokohama is also known as Yuzu’s hometown.

The special collaboration is made to celebrate and greet this year’s “shinseijin” (new adults, those who reached the age of majority, or 20 years old). In the concert, Yuzu will collaborate with some new adults musician from various music genres, and also to do some cover version of songs requested by their fans.

Yuzu will celebrate their 20th anniverary this year since their debut in 1997. At the press conference on January 24th, member Yujin Kitagawa said, “If I look back, it feels so quick, but it seems like along journey, too.” Member Koji Iwasawa added, “When I was 20 years old, I attended the new adult ceremony in Yokohama Arena. I never thought that I’ll be standing here on the stage. It feels like I come back to that moment.”
