Situated only two-minutes walking from Okachimachi Mosque, this ramen shop is quite popular among the moslem people. Originally opened in Kyoto, Ayam-YA now can be found in Tokyo and Kualalumpur. We ordered karai shio ramen, nokotori tsukemen, Jakarta mazemen and Chicken over rice NY style. The broth of karai shio ramen is so tasty and savory. If you love spice and hot food, we recommend you to eat this ramen. The nokotori tsukemen is also delicious- you can’t stop dipping the noodles into the sauce. The Jakarta mazemen and NY style’s rice are also no ordinary food! The noodles are so chewy and the rice is so tasty. Ayam-YA is definitely one of the best halal ramen shops to eat in Ueno area.
The price is quite affordable and the portion of the food is very woman-friendly. The restaurant is quite wide so you enjoy slow eating with your favorite friends and colleagues.
