Do you want to learn new culture with the whole family without going outside Tokyo? You can visit Odaiba Hawai’s Festival 2017. This year’s festival will be held in Odaiba Venus Fort, starting from April 29 (Sat), to May 7 (Sun), 2017. The annual event will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. As a major event, the festival has recorded about 600,000 visitors in 2016.
The theme for the festival this year is “Mahalo”, a Hawaiian language means “Thank you”. Some special performances has been prepared to celebrate the 15th anniversary, such as Hawaiian music show by local and foreign musicians, and also Hula and Tahitian dance show which will be displayed everyday.
You can also find some resorts items at the Hawaiian Market and Hawaiian food at the Food Market section and learn Hawaiian culture like playing ukulele at the workshop. Even though it’s being held in Tokyo, you can experience real Hawaiian atmosphere and culture at this festival.
