Enjoy the beauty of magnificent purple wisteria (藤/fuji flower) this spring in this special festival, held in 亀戸天神社, or Kameido Tenjin Shrine. Wisteria, is an aquatic flowering plant, and native to the Eastern United States, China, Korea and Japan. Every spring, the pretty purple wisteria are blooming in this shrine which was built in 1646, and becomes major attraction. Bring your camera and be sure to take many shot of this beautiful wisteria scenery! You can also participate on some events such as tea ceremony, and stroll along the food stalls and shopping districts.
